Choose this type of the Free Accounting installation if you want to make
changes in the default installation settings. Using the Advanced type of
the installation you can either connect to the existing / install MS SQL server on local machine or
on local network.
Please refer to the Free Accounting Installation topic to find
out how to start the installation.
- Specify the folder to install Free Accounting to. To install to a different folder, either type in a new path, or click the
Browse button to browse to another existing folder. Make sure, that you have enough free space
on the hard drive.
- Press the Next button.
- Select the folder the Free Accounting shortcut icons will be created in. Leave the default value or, if necessary,
select another folder from the Shortcut folder drop-down.
The shortcut might be installed either for the current user only or for all users of the Windows system. Select
one of the options below:
- Install shortcuts for current user only;
- Make shortcuts available to all users.
Note: If you are using Windows 98 or Millennium, the options given above will be not displayed and the
shortcuts will be available to all users by default.
- If you do not have MSSQL Server (MSDE) installed on your local machine the
following window will appear.
