Click here to start working with the Free Accounting application. Refer to the Free Accounting Help file for the
information about adding new company in to the application.
- On the Free Accounting Login window specify the following information:
User name - Enter the user name to log in to Free Accounting (it is always sa).
Password - Enter password. If you installed MSDE with Free Accounting, enter the password, you specified
during installation.
If you had MSDE on your computer before the Free Accounting installation, enter the password, you use to
connect to your MSSQL Server (MSDE).
- Click the OK button.
- The New Company Files Settings window will appear. Enter the following information:
New Company name - Enter the name of the company in to the field.
Destination Folder - The location of the database files. Leave default location or specify another one using the
 button.
- Click the OK button to proceed. Click the Cancel button to return to the Free
Accounting introduction window.
- The Create Company wizard will appear. Proceed with the wizard
using the steps provided on the Companies List page.
Note: Click the Advanced button to specify the network machine, you want to create new database
on, in the Select or Enter a Server Name field. Or click the Advanced button and leave the name of
the local server to have the possibility to change the database name later.
- Click the OK button.
- The New Company Files Settings window will appear. Enter the following information:
New Company name - Enter the name of the company in to the field.
Destination Folder - The location of the database files. Leave default location or specify another one using the
button.
Database Name - The name of the new database. Leave default name or specify another one.
- Click the OK button to proceed. Click the Cancel button to return to the Free
Accounting introduction window.
- The Create Company wizard will appear. Proceed with the wizard
using the steps provided on the Companies List page.
