During the Free Accounting Installation Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine will be installed on your computer and will be used as a server.
Please, refer to the Free Accounting Installation topic to find out how to start the installation.
- Free Accounting MSDE Setup wizard will appear. Click the Next button.
- On the Login Information step of the installation wizard create the MSDE system
administrator password. It will be used for connecting to the database. The User Name is filled in automatically
by the system and it is always sa. Click the Install button.
- The Password window will appear. Confirm the password by typing it in again. Click the OK button.
Note: If the passwords you entered do not match, the following message will appear. Type in the correct password.
- The installation process will begin, it can take several minutes.
- On the Free Accounting Installed Successfully step of the wizard click the Finish button to complete the
Free Accounting installation.
