1. If you do not have MSSQL Server (MSDE) installed on the local machine, the following window will appear. Select one of the options and click the Next button.
   
   Install MSSQL Server on the local machine

1. If you have not downloaded MSSQL Server (MSDE) Setup file from the Systems Online Inc. web page before, the following window will appear. Choose one of the options and click the Next button:
   
   
   • Local file on your machine - Select this option, if you have previously downloaded the MSDE installation from the Systems Online Inc. web page and moved it from the default location to another one.
   • Download from internet - Select this option to download and install MSDE from the Systems Online SCT, Inc website.
     
     Click the Next button.
   
   
   
2. If you have downloaded MSSQL Server (MSDE) Setup file from the Systems Online Inc. web page before, the wizard will search for the MSDE installation file on the local machine.
   
   
• On the Ready to Install step of the wizard click the Next button to proceed with the Free Accounting installation. Click the Back button to return to the previous steps of the installation, in case you want to change the installation settings.



• The MSDE installation process will be initialized. Refer to the MSDE Installation topic for more information about it.

Local File on Your Machine.

• If you have chosen Local file on your machine option on the previous step of the installation, the following window will appear. Browse to the location, where you have previously saved MSSQL Server (MSDE).Click the Next button.
  Note: You can only use MSSQL Server (MSDE) downloaded from Systems Online Inc. web site.





• On the Ready to Install step of the wizard click the Next button to proceed with the Free Accounting installation. Click the Back button to return to the previous steps of the installation, in case you want to change the installation settings.





• The MSDE installation process will be initialized. Refer to the MSDE Installation topic for more information about it.

From Internet

1. If you have chosen From Internet option on the previous step of the installation, the Ready to Install window will appear. Click the Next button to proceed with the Free Accounting installation. Click the Back button to return to the previous steps of the installation, in case you want to change the installation settings.





2. The window, showing the download progress, will appear. The size of the MSDE Setup file is approximately 45 MB.





3. The MSDE installation process will be initialized. Refer to the MSDE Installation topic for more information about it.

1. On the Select MSSQL Server step of the wizard select the name of MSSQL Server, which will be used by Free Accounting, from the Available Servers list, and click Next.




Note: If you want to enter the name of MSSQL Server manually, select the Enter manually option from the Available Servers list, and click Next. In the MSSQL Server name window, enter the name of MSSQL Server, and click Next. Make sure that you have enough rigths for this server.




2. Click the Next button to proceed with the Free Accounting installation. Click the Back button to return to the previous steps of the installation, in case you want to change the installation settings.





3. Click the Finish button on the Free Accounting Installed Successfully window.
