- Enter User name to connect to the Sample database. It is always sa.
- Enter Password to connect to the Sample database. If you installed MSDE with Free Accounting, use the password, you specified during installation.
If you had MSDE on your computer before the Free Accounting installation,
use the same password you are using to connect to your MSSQL Server (MSDE).
Click the Advanced button to display additional Select or Enter a Server Name field.
If necessary, enter or select from the list the name of the network machine where the Sample database is located.
- Click the OK button.
- If you open sample company for the first time, the Sample Company Files Settings window will appear. Click the OK button.
Sample Company name - The name of the Sample Company.
Destination Folder - The location of the database files.
The Free Accounting main window will appear. Refer to the Interface Overview for more
information about Free Accounting interface.
