The Free Accounting Repair wizard will fix missing or corrupted files, shortcuts and registry entries, after you have
updated to / installed the current version of the software.
Follow the steps of the wizard to repair all the Free Accounting components.
Run the downloaded FreeAccountingSetup.exe file to start the repair process. Click
here for the information how you can download the Free
Accounting installation file.
- Free Accounting Setup welcome screen will appear. Click the Next button.
- Agree to the terms of the Free Accounting END-USER Software license agreement to continue the repair process.
Click the Next button.
- On the Program Maintenance step of the wizard click the Repair button to start the repair process.
- Select the components to repair. The following options are available:
- Database and Application
Repair - Recommended. Select this to repair both the database and the Free Accounting application.
- Database Repair - Select this option to repair
the database on the server or on the machine where the database is located.
- Application Repair - Select this option
to repair the Free Accounting application.
Database and Application Repair
- On the Repair Settings step of the wizard select both Database Repair and Application Repair
check-boxes and click the Next button.
- Select the type of the repair that is preferential to you:
Standard - Select this option to repair the last company you worked with.
Advanced - Choose this option to repair any existing Free Accounting database on MSSQL Server from the local network.
- Click the Next button.
Repair Database
- On the Repair Settings step of the wizard select the Database repair check-box only and click the
Next button.
- Select the type of the repair that is preferential to you:
Standard - Select this option to repair the last company you worked with.
Advanced - Choose this option to repair any existing Free Accounting database on MSSQL Server from the local network.
- Click the Next button.
Application Repair
- On the Repair Settings step of the wizard select the Application Repair check-box only and click the
Next button.
- On the Ready to Install step of the wizard carefully check, whether the information you entered is correct and click
the Next button. If you want to change some information, click the Back button.
- Click the Finish button on the Free Accounting Installed successfully window.
