In the working company there are three Customers' records. They will be used in the documents, creation of which will be described in the further lessons of the Tutorial. In the current lesson you will learn the process of creating a new Customer in the database.
Enter the Customer information once and see it whenever you enter transactions: Free Accounting memorizes it and prefills it for you in the forms of the documents.

You have the following data about the Customer:
Suppose, you have made an agreement with this Customer according to which some conditions were agreed on. They are as follows:
- Credit Limit - 1000
- Account - 1100 Account Receivable
- Terms - 1% 10 Net 30
- Ship Via - Common Carrier
- SIC - 3465
- EIN - 75-98674532

To start working with this Customer put his record into the system.
Take the following steps to do it:
- Press
on the Commands Panel, select Customers List in the Navigation Pane, make right click in the working window and select Add.
- Enter the availbale data (that were agreed with the Customer) into the fields of the Address Info, Ship To Records, Credit Information, Options windows.
- Press the Ok button to save the current record.
In the end you will see the following windows filled with the above data:




This record will be displayed in the Free Accounting working window.
Now when the record is in the system, you can work with this Customer: sell him goods that he orders from your inventory. For working with Tutorial you will use the Customers' records that already exist in the application. See Sales Orders.
