Customers List
The Customers List displays the records of the Customers, where invoices for them are sent. If the Customer has only one location and receives his bills at the same address, there is no need to add a shipping record. The shipment will be sent to the billing address.

To view the Customers List select Lists / Customers List from the Main Menu or press on the Commands Panel and select Customers List in the Navigation Pane.

Take the following steps to add a new customer's record:
  1. Select Lists / Customers List from the Main Menu.

  2. Make right click in the Preview Pane and select Add.

  3. Enter the required information into the fields. After saving, this information can be edited by right clicking in the Preview Pane and selecting Edit or just by double clicking on the line.
  4. Press the Ok button.


Address Information:


Customer - The name of the Customer's company.
Code - This is a unique, ten-digit, alphanumeric number that identifies the Customer.
Master Customer# - This is the Customer who is master to the new one.

First Name - The Customer's first name.
Last Name - The Customer's last name.
Phone - The 7 or 10 digit phone number of the Customer.
Fax - The 7 or 10 digit fax number of the Customer.
Use area code - Check this box if you need to use the area code when dialing the fax number.
Address - If the company has one location, but gets their mail at a post office box, their mailing address must be entered here and their receiving address as a Shipping Record.
City - The city the Customer's company is located in.
State/Province - The State/Province the Customer's office is in.
Zip code - The postal zone of the company's street address.
County - The county the Customer's company is in.
Country - The country the Customer is in.

Ship To records:
Shipping Records are entered when the Customer either has more than one shipping address or his billing address is different from his shipping address.
Make right click in the field of the Ship To records window and select Add to create a shipping record for the new Customer. Enter the required information.


Ship To - This is the name of the company the shipments will be addressed.
Code - This is a unique, ten-digit, alphanumeric number that identifies the Customer.
First Name - The Customer's first name.
Last Name - The Customer's last name.
Phone - The 7 or 10 digit phone number of the Customer.
Fax - The 7 or 10 digit fax number of the Customer.
Web address - This is the web address of the Customer. Pressing the Go button opens the Customer's site.
E-mail - The Customer's e-mail through which he can be got in contact with.
Tax Code - This is the tax code that shows if the Customer is taxable or not.
Tax Jurisdiction - The tax jurisdiction to which the Customer is assigned.
Address - This is a multi-line field for the suite number and street address.
City - This is the town or city where shipments will be sent.
State/Province - This is the State or Province where the shipment will be sent.
Zip code - This is the postal code in US or Canadian format.
County - This is the county of the state that the business is in.
Country - This is the country where the shipments will be sent.

Credit Information:


SIC - Standard Industrial Classification - 4-digit codes used to categorize and uniquely identify business activities.
Credit Limit - The maximum amount that is allowed for this Customer to owe at any given time.
Terms - These are the payment terms that this Customer has agreed to pay under.
Ship Via - This is how the goods will be delivered to the Customer.

Options:


EIN - Employer Identification Number. It's a nine-digit number assigned to employers by the federal government in the format 99-9999999.
Account - This is account that the transactions, connected with the current Customer, affect.
Tax Code - This is the tax code that shows if the Customer is taxable or not.
Tax Jurisdiction - The tax jurisdiction to which the Customer is assigned.
Customer Class - The class, the Customer belongs to, allows the user to define the type of the Customer's business, that is necessary for reporting purposes.
Web address - This is the web address of the Customer. Pressing the Go button opens the Customer's site.
E-mail - The Customer's e-mail through which he can be got in contact with.

Custom Fields Tab
On this tab you can create the fields that you need for inserting any necessary information about the current item. See Custom Fields Tab.
Use Search function to search for the record of a definite Customer.
